Ronseal Garden Paint Daisy is a versatile water-based paint that protects against the weather and provides lasting colour for up to 5 years without blistering or peeling. 

It is recommended that you don’t apply Ronseal Garden Paint Daisy on plastic, iron, decking or areas that you'll walk on.

How to Use Ronseal Garden Paint Daisy 750ml:

Preparing to use Ronseal Garden Paint Daisy 750ml:

• Make sure to choose a suitable day to start painting in the garden – check the weather forecast to make sure the rain will stay way.
• If you are starting to paint new wood, it should be left to weather for 6 weeks then lightly sanded and wiped with methylated spirit using a cloth – this is the paint will apply to the surface smoothly be absorbed.
• If you are thinking about painting old garden wood that has been previously painted or left outside for a longer period of time, you should be sanded down to remove any loose paint and give you a smooth surface to begin application – wipe down with methylated spirit using a cloth after sanding.
• If you find that the wood has rotted away, these parts should be removed or hardened. If you spot any mould or algae that has formed, you should clean this before starting.
• When painting sheds and fences use a stiff wire brush to prep the surface.
• If you are working with brick or stone brush away any dust or debris before getting started.
• With terracotta surfaces, you must sand down the surface until any glaze is thoroughly removed. (A tip here is to add water to the terracotta and if it beads you need to keep sanding!)
• Metal surfaces should be primed before use for best results – use a grey primer for darker shades or a white primer for lighter colours.

Applying Ronseal Garden Paint Daisy 750ml:

• To start, mix the tin well to ensure the colour is dispersed thoroughly and test the paint on a small part of wood to make sure you are 100% happy with the colour.
• Then, apply the woodstain using a brush, in the same direction of the grain.
• Leave the coat to dry thoroughly for 4 hours, although it will be rain proof after 1 hour – it is recommended that 3 coats are applied.
• When painting a smooth surface, lightly sand the surface between the second and third coat.
• Each litre of Ronseal Garden Paint will cover approximately 12m²
