Ronseal Interior Varnish Teak Satin

Give all your interior wood surfaces a gorgeous natural finish with Ronseal Interior Varnish Teak. Suitable for use on wooden furniture and skirting boards, the Ronseal Interior Varnish Teak also features diamond hard protection against everyday wear and tears.

The long-lasting Ronseal Interior Varnish is dry and ready to use again in 20 minutes, it even comes without the harsh odour that can come with some other varnishes.

The Ronseal Interior Varnish Light Teak is quick and easy to use giving a clear gloss finish but is not suitable for painted wood but can be used on bare wood or wood that has been previously varnished.

How to use the Ronseal Interior Varnish Teak Satin:

• Before getting to work, ensure the room you are working in is warm and well ventilated and using white spirits and a cloth, remove any wax, oil and grease from the surface and sand down the wood for a smooth application. If you have already applied a coating, remove any sections that are flaking, cracked or peeling.
• Once you have wiped away the dust and are satisfied the surface is dry, stir the varnish thoroughly to get the best consistency.
• Trial the colour on a noticeable patch to make sure you are 100% happy, it could darken your wood but should enhance its natural colour.
• Using a brush, apply a layer of the varnish along the direction of the wood grain.
• Leave the varnish for 1 hour to dry, then apply 1 or 2 further coats following the same process to get the full benefits of the varnish.
• Before applying the final coat of varnish, gently sand the surface and wipe dust off with a damp cloth before applying to give you a gorgeous finish.
