It is ideal for interior wood such as doors, skirting boards, stair components, furniture, and other high-use areas.
Please note: this product is not suitable for use on flooring.

How to Use Ronseal Ultra Tough Hardglaze

Preparation:

Before starting, ensure the room is warm and well ventilated. Using a cloth and white spirits, remove any wax, oil, or grease from the surface. Sand the wood smooth to create an even base. If the surface has been previously coated, remove any areas that are flaking, cracked, or peeling before application.

Application:

• Stir the tin thoroughly before use.
• Apply the varnish evenly with a brush, following the direction of the wood grain.
• Allow the first coat to dry for 6 hours.
• Apply a second coat and allow a further 6 hours to dry.
• Before applying the third and final coat, lightly sand the surface and wipe away dust with a damp cloth.
• Apply the final coat to achieve a smooth, high-gloss, professional finish.

Coverage:

• Covers approximately 7.5m² per litre, depending on the condition and absorbency of the wood.
