Fill a small seed tray almost to the top with moist seed compost. Scatter seeds thinly and cover them lightly with a bit more compost. Keep the tray in a warm environment, ideally between 20-25°C, and ensure the compost stays moist. Note that lower temperatures can hinder germination.

Growing On:

Position seedlings in a well-lit area, providing shade from direct sunlight. Once they're sizable enough to handle, transplant them individually into 8cm pots. As the young plants continue to develop, maintain temperatures between 10-15°C.

Planting Out:

Gradually introduce plants to outdoor conditions over 2-3 weeks before planting them out, ensuring the danger of frost has passed. Leave about 30cm of space between each plant.
